  1. Remember the scheduled time of the call! A call on LifeGuides is a commitment for both you and your Guide. Whether you use a hand-written schedule or one online, we definitely recommend noting when your call will be. If you need to reschedule or cancel, let your Guide know as soon as possible, or cancel the call directly in your dashboard.

  2. Guides are just like you. Don't feel like your call is going to be an interview. It's not a high pressure call! It's a conversation between caregivers.

  3. Find a comfortable place to do the call. Talking about caregiving can be emotional, and perhaps stressful. We want you to feel fine throughout the whole call. Some of us may like to do these calls while in bed, and some of us may like to do these calls while taking a walk. Do whatever helps you best.

  4. Look out for our outgoing calls number: (400) 300-5767. Currently, Guide calls to you will come from this number, which caller ID will indicate is from Oklahoma. Don't ignore a call from this number when it's the time of your scheduled conversation -- this is your Guide! This number makes outgoing calls only, so you will not be able to dial into it yourself.

We hope these tips help you feel prepared for your call. If you have any other questions about preparation, please feel free to contact us directly by clicking on the blue icon at the bottom-right of the page. One of us will try to assist you as soon as possible.
